  • FPGA-embedded image processing workflow:

We have implemented a comprehensive FPGA-embedded image processing workflow (embedded filtering) to provide you with greater control over your data.
This workflow enables bad pixel correction, image filtering, and thresholding to be performed before sending data over USB or CameraLink®. You can customize a 5-by-5 pixels convolution matrix for real-time filtering operations such as edge detection.
Using this workflow can significantly reduce the need for post-processing.

Embedded filtering is a unique feature available with First Light Imaging cameras.

  • Two bad pixel correction modes:

Now, you have the flexibility to choose between two bad pixel correction modes.
The first one optimizes latency, making it ideal for applications with stringent real-time requirements. Additionally, a second correction method based on pixel interpolation has been developed to ensure optimal image quality.
